About The Consulate

We’re located in the old Consulado de Uruguay in the center of beautiful Palma de Mallorca — a creative space where learning happens naturally, joyfully, and without pressure.

This isn’t your typical academy full of dusty textbooks. You’ll find real conversations, real laughs, and real progress. Our students leave class smiling — and speaking with confidence.

We teach English & Spanish classes for all levels — beginners, advanced learners, exam prep, conversation boosters, and creative modules designed to help you use your language skills in everyday life.

We are personal, passionate, and proudly different — because learning should feel alive.

The truth is, we still don’t have that many good pictures — it’s a work in progress! But we hope to have it ready very soon.

Meet Ben

Hi!

I’m Ben, the founder and lead teacher at The Consulate.
I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years, and in that time I’ve helped students of all ages and levels gain confidence, pass important exams, and fall in love with the language.

My approach is practical, fun, and flexible — I believe in real communication, in building trust, and in making sure every student feels heard and supported.
After years of teaching in different academies, I wanted to create a space that felt more personal, more inspiring, and a lot more human. That’s how The Consulate was born.

When I’m not teaching, you might find me playing music, reading, or just enjoying a coffee and a good conversation — probably in several languages.
